During the ceremony, Gab said: “Natutuwa ako, isa ako sa dahilan kung bakit ka ngumingiti at tumatawa. Sa ano mang araw ng buhay nating magkasama, sisikaping kong magbigay ngiti sayo, sikapin ko ring suportahan ka, kahit sa mga araw na mahirap ngumiti.”

A promise of laughter and presence, even through the tough days. His words were simple yet full of weight—an everyday kind of love, the kind that stays. And then Angeli, with her voice full of gratitude and joy, said: “Gusto ko lang sabihin na salamat sa 2nd chance, sa tamang chance, at salamat sa tamang timing ng love story na ito. Salamat sa pagmamahal. At ngayon, gusto ko ring ipalandakan sa lahat ng tao dito at sa lahat ng witness ng pag-iibigan na ’to, na mahal na mahal kita, at napakaswerte ko at ako ang minamahal mo.”

We couldn’t help but ask: who said it better? But maybe that’s the beauty of it—neither needed to win.
